Concrete “X-Ray” Prior to Sawcutting in Vaughan, Ontario

A plumbing contractor was working at a new business park in Vaughan, Ontario and as part of the project needed to sawcut the slab for the installation of some new sanitary lines. The contractor did not want to break any utilities that may be running through the area and also wanted to verify the amount of rebar within the slab. 

GPRS Enterprises of Toronto mobilized to the business park and used multiple antennas to provide concrete imaging and also used electromagnetic field detecting devices to ensure that the contractor would not hit any utilities during the sawcutting. Additionally, GPRS was able to confirm that there was no rebar inside the slab
