GPS & GPR Used to Locate Utilities - Hamilton, OntarioGPS and GPR Used to Locate Private Utilities
- Hamilton, Ontario

A GPS unit was used to record the precise location of each underground line, as accuracy on this project was very important. Approximate depth of each utility was also provided to the client so that digging could take place with confidence moving forward. Striking a line during excavation could cut the power to a nearby school or even worse a hospital, that is why our technicians are experts in GPR and treat every project with the upmost care.

A GPS unit was used to take the location of each utility line for input into an AutoCAD drawing along with a Google Earth overlay that was submitted to the client. This utility drawing could then be used in all phases of upcoming construction, eliminating risk and keeping the project on schedule. GPRS was able to mobilize and complete this project in a 48-hour time period.

If your company is in need of utility locating services, which include underground storage tank location, storm and sewer drain mapping, water and gas line location, and power/communication marking in the Hamilton, London or Windsor area, please contact:
